## Summary

话说前朝，湖广孝感县城外鸿渐村地方，有一乡民，姓廉名野，表号小村。其妻潘氏 ，早生一子，取名洁儿。夫妻三口，是磨豆腐为生，又兼卖些冷酒过日。这廉小村为人忠 诚朴实，虽是一个穷汉，却专喜行些善事。见人饥饿，便肯留他来家来吃饭；见人寒冷， 便肯将旧衣服与他穿着。故此远近之人，皆称他为廉善人。
