## Summary

Legfőbb az, hogy e műveimet nem tartom elveszendőnek. E művekben látom írói kedélyem ifjúságát, átmelegítve a legmerészebb reményektől; a követelő fantáziát, mely a sorstul ábrándjai megvalósítását várja, mely kéjeleg a csodálatos napok sugárözönében s dühöng a réméjszakák vérvilágításában s túlzó csapongásaival egy nemzet hangulatát követi csupán. – Soha úgy írni, miként akkor, nem tudnék többé; – soha úgy érezni a leirottat, úgy visszaadni a szív igaz keservét és örömét, és soha oly bátran kimondani azt, a mit kigondoltam.
