## Summary

Nous sortîmes à dix heures du soir de la baie de Saint-Paul. La mer y est plus calme, et le mouillage plus sûr qu'à Saint-Denis, dont la rade est gâtée par une quantité prodigieuse d'ancres abandonnées par les vaisseaux. Leurs câbles s'y coupent fort promptement; cependant les marins préfèrent Saint-Denis.
