1. _A way wherein to walk._--Literally, the power of using a way. It seems to me likely that this term, way--[Greek: hodos], here signifies the Stoic philosophy, just as in the early Church it was used to signify Christianity (_e. g._, _Acts_ xxii. 4, and xix. 9, 23).
