He married Mrs. Pinner when they were both twenty, and by the time they were both thirty if he had had to do it again he wouldn’t have. For Mrs. Pinner had several drawbacks. One was, she quarrelled; and Mr. Pinner, who prized peace, was obliged to quarrel too. Another was, she appeared to be unable to have children; and Mr. Pinner, who was fond of children, accordingly couldn’t have them either. And another, which while it lasted was in some ways the worst, was that she was excessively pretty. ## Chapters - [Part 7](https://www.cyberlibrary.org/en/books/introduction-to-sally-72979/chapters/7/index.md) - [Part 14](https://www.cyberlibrary.org/en/books/introduction-to-sally-72979/chapters/14/index.md) - [Part 3](https://www.cyberlibrary.org/en/books/introduction-to-sally-72979/chapters/3/index.md) - [Part 2](https://www.cyberlibrary.org/en/books/introduction-to-sally-72979/chapters/2/index.md) - [Part 6](https://www.cyberlibrary.org/en/books/introduction-to-sally-72979/chapters/6/index.md) - [Part 18](https://www.cyberlibrary.org/en/books/introduction-to-sally-72979/chapters/18/index.md) - [Part 10](https://www.cyberlibrary.org/en/books/introduction-to-sally-72979/chapters/10/index.md) - [Part 16](https://www.cyberlibrary.org/en/books/introduction-to-sally-72979/chapters/16/index.md) - [Part 15](https://www.cyberlibrary.org/en/books/introduction-to-sally-72979/chapters/15/index.md) - [Part 21](https://www.cyberlibrary.org/en/books/introduction-to-sally-72979/chapters/21/index.md) - [Part 13](https://www.cyberlibrary.org/en/books/introduction-to-sally-72979/chapters/13/index.md) - [Part 19](https://www.cyberlibrary.org/en/books/introduction-to-sally-72979/chapters/19/index.md) - [Part 20](https://www.cyberlibrary.org/en/books/introduction-to-sally-72979/chapters/20/index.md) - [Part 12](https://www.cyberlibrary.org/en/books/introduction-to-sally-72979/chapters/12/index.md) - [Part 5](https://www.cyberlibrary.org/en/books/introduction-to-sally-72979/chapters/5/index.md) - [Part 11](https://www.cyberlibrary.org/en/books/introduction-to-sally-72979/chapters/11/index.md) - [Part 9](https://www.cyberlibrary.org/en/books/introduction-to-sally-72979/chapters/9/index.md) - [Part 17](https://www.cyberlibrary.org/en/books/introduction-to-sally-72979/chapters/17/index.md) - [Part 1](https://www.cyberlibrary.org/en/books/introduction-to-sally-72979/chapters/1/index.md) - [Part 4](https://www.cyberlibrary.org/en/books/introduction-to-sally-72979/chapters/4/index.md) - [Part 8](https://www.cyberlibrary.org/en/books/introduction-to-sally-72979/chapters/8/index.md) - [Part 22](https://www.cyberlibrary.org/en/books/introduction-to-sally-72979/chapters/22/index.md)
