WULSTAN, BISHOP OF WORCESTER:--Wulstan accompanies Edgar Atheling to make his submission to William--Wulstan a simple weak-minded man--Wulstan is confirmed in his diocese--His services to the Norman king--Lanfranc reports Wulstan incapacitated--Is summoned to the great council in Westminster church--Is commanded to give up his robes and staff--Resigns his staff at the tomb of the Confessor--Wulstan is entreated to resume his episcopal robes--Wulstan beloved by the Saxons
